One thought he had seen him in the forest. 
Was it me?

Silent Songs is a series of paintings I have created inspired by the raga, music and the lines of our national song, Vande Maataram. I have used imageries from nature, colors and the contours of a woman's body to express the culture and heritage, geographical diversity and of course, moods and spirits of the country.
I have used artist quality acrylic paint on canvas. the work is ready to hang.

Dan's work usually depicts an alternative perception of the reality that is possible by letting go of the standard perception of the surroundings. Once time, space, social and cultural standards become other than boundaries the possibilities are limitless and the creative thought can release us into a freedom which we didn't have the courage to hope for. He applies the same concept to his process trying to use the result of accidental drops or free gesture finger or brush intervention as a will of a predefined chaos that is used as a pretext for new layers and details of the composition. The images he uses for reference are collages of various out of context picture cuts found in archives, social media or even screen prints from cinema or television productions.

"You are a Hero" No.2 is an abstract painting 60 cm/23.62 in H x 60 cm/23.62 in W, 4 cm/1,57 in deep. 
'Heroes' is a song by singer-songwriter David Bowie. It was co-written by Bowie and Brian Eno. 
The song tells the story of two lovers, one from East and one from West.

The painting is inspired by the song 'Heroes'  by singer-songwriter David Bowie. 
The song tells the story of two lovers, one from East and one from West Berlin. Bowie's performance of "'Heroes'" on 6 June 1987, at the German Reichstag in West Berlin has been considered a catalyst to the later fall of the Berlin Wall. Following his death in January 2016, the German government thanked Bowie for "helping to bring down the Wall", adding "you are now among Heroes".
