My art is something that I enjoy and experience; I doubt and question.  My love for poetry, music, fables, people, travel and nature shapes my thought process and finds its reflection in my works. In that magical world fine lines, Space, and colors define time, destiny and the moods.

Silent Songs is a series of paintings I have created inspired by the raga, music and the lines of our national song, Vande Maataram. I have used imageries from nature, colours and the contours of a woman's body to express the culture and heritage, geographical diversity and of course, moods and spirits of the country.

This painting is from my Raaga series of paintings which capture the myths and fables attached and  the essence, moods and feelings created by the featured raaga when it is performed.
