Pop Art movement emerged suddenly at the beginning of the 60s and it has never gone out of fashion. The iconography of daily objects, advertising signage, and movie stars was exploring the American mass culture. 

One of the names that are still inspiring today many contemporary artists is Andy Warhol. Described by Susan Sontag as "love of the unnatural: of artifice and exaggeration, a good taste of bad taste" These words are still valid for Pop Art even today, a style defined by color and exaggeration, by exacerbation or criticism of consumerism.
