My oil paintings often centre on the subjects of figures, still-life or landscapes. Stylistically, I enjoy distorting shapes slightly in order to capture a mood or atmosphere, and also focus on the facial expressions of figurative subjects to convey an emotion or feeling.

This painting was inspired by the beautiful fallen leaves of phoenix tree. The red almost cover the entire river, and it brings such quiet and peace to the audience.
