It is to my stisfaction and encauragemendt that i enjoy the proud previlege of my being the descendant of Joshi family of SHAHPURA 311404 (Distt. Bhil. Rajasthan) to whom goes the SOLE credit of having initiated the art of phad painting as back as Seven hundred years. Thus the historical background of the art is traced to 700 years back which has exclusively been initiated by the said family settled at SHAHPURA 311404 and no where else in india. the lover of phad painting to know that we have at our ancestors as most valuable relies 300 years.
    These are beautiful specimen of the Rajasthani cloth paintings. The narratives of the folk deities of 
Rajasthan,  mostly of Pabuji and Devnarayan- who are worshipped as the incarnation of lord Vishnu & Laxman.
I have received  full traning in the phad art under the guidance of my father Shri. Shanti Lal Joshi who enjoys the previlege of National Award Winner. This honour was bestowed upon him by Shri Shankar Dayal Sharma in 1991.

Ganesha is the formless Divinity - encapsulated in a magnificent form, for the benefit of the devotee. As per Hindu mythology, he is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
The Meaning of Ganesh
Gan means group. The universe is a group of atoms and different energies. This universe would be in chaos if there was no supreme law governing these diverse groups of entities.
The Lord of all these groups of atoms and energies is Ganesha. He is the supreme consciousness that pervades all and brings order in this universe.

Achintya – beyond thought
Avyakta – beyond expression
Ananta – eternal
The Story of Lord Ganesha's Birth.
We are all familiar with the story of how Ganesha became the elephant-headed God.
As the story goes, Parvati became dirty when she was celebrating with Shiva. When she  realized this, she removed the dirt from her body and created a boy out of it. She then asked the boy to keep guard while she bathed.
When Shiva returned, the boy did not recognize him and obstructed his path. Shiva in rage, chopped off the boy's head and entered. At seeing this, Parvati was shocked. She explained to Shiva that the boy was their son and pleaded with Shiva to save him. 
Shiva then instructed his helpers to go and get the head of someone who was sleeping with their head pointing towards the north. The helpers got the head of an elephant, which Shiva affixed to the boy's torso and Ganesha was born!

The Supreme shakti, Maa Durga is worshiped with utmost devotion in Hindu religion. She is divine with a multi-dimensional demeanour. She is not only a nurturer but also a protector. She is worshipped as the Goddess of Strength. During Navratri, devotees worship the nine avatars of Maa Durga.
While Maa Durga’s saga is known to all her devotees, there are some interesting facts about Maa Durga that are still unknown to many:
She is considered to be the other half of Lord Shiva. While Shiva is the form, Durga is the expression.
Her arms signify directions. Each of her arms holds a weapon which signifies that She protects her devotees from all evil.She is seen riding a lion. While a lion signifies power, Maa Durga, who is sitting on a lion is the ultimate power, Shakti.
Goddess Durga is known as Triyambake which means She has three eyes. Her three eyes signify Agni, Surya and Chandra.
By her very name, Maa Durga can be conceived as the supreme power. The word ‘Durga’ means invincible.
Given that she is the supreme power, Maa Durga was able to destroy

Significance of Hanuman Chalisa
Hanuman Chalisa is a timeless ode to devotion

Lord Hanuman is known for his devotion to Lord Ram and is considered to be the embodiment of faith, surrender, and devotion.  

The 'Hanuman Chalisa' is composed by Saint Goswami Tulsidas, the author of the Tulsi Ramayana (Ramacharitamanasa). It is believed that an ailing Tulsidas composed the Hanuman Chalisa. Composing and singing the praises of Lord Hanuman.
Composed of 40 verses filled with praises for Lord Hanuman, the Hanuman Chalisa is composed in Avadhi. This dialect of Hindi was spoken in Ayodhya, Lord Rama’s birthplace.
