Sripriya’s art is inspired by Dutch still life and contemporary hyperrealism; and places the beauty of the commonplace forefront. Her work focuses on still life as a deeper inquiry into the nature of man's pursuit of objects and a chronicle of our lives and times.

This oil painting rendered in photo-realistic detail, with over close to 160 hours of painstaking work, draws inspiration from the multi-layered technique of the Old Dutch masters, which brings alive the warmth and intensity of these peppers on canvas.
