My art is based on psychogeography: I describe the psychological effects of geographical locations on emotions through abstract maps. These disaggregated imaginary topographies explore the complex undercurrents of our intimate and collective interconnections.

I am fascinated by the network of pipes under Manhattan’s streets and avenues.
Recently, I was walking in Chelsea with a friend and saw on one of the streets, this amazing web of conduits, cables, and pipes.
From my point of view, It looks like each existing infrastructure is an extremely difficult engineering
and coordination challenge.
I imagined the anatomy of  New York through these abstract paintings inspired by the city’s subterranean complexity.

I like the idea that virtual communities can help to create & support new social networks.
All these individuals interact through specific social media, crossing geographical & political boundaries in order to pursue mutual interests, projects, or goals.
I followed the same process through my own creation and I imagined visually how a network could look like.
Colors determine categories of persons who belong to the main community.
Follow & track their path inside the virtual world.
