On road trip to England from Ireland clicked enchanting landscape of Southern Uplands of Scotland. Enlarged and painted the rural scene in oil during the pandemic 2020. Pleasing and comforting colors of the vast expanse is a prized possession anywhere.

Visit to a flower show in 1972 was the inspiration behind this still life portrayal of flowers. Colorful flowers facing you being arranged likewise lingered in mind and inspired me to paint these and keep them permanently visible and alive.

The renovated historical Sunder Nursery in New Delhi is nature in full bloom. Beautiful water pools fountains and trees offer a refreshing escape from the mundane city landscape. The heart leaps up with the surging fountain creating ripples of joy not only on the pond below but also in ones heart. This scene was a fit one to be initially captured on camera and later painted and preserved forever in my memory.  Pandemic pangs vanished on engaging in such an engrossing endeavor.

Peace Monument is one of the unique and important part of this vast Soka Bodhi Tree Garden situated near Delhi and Haryana. Buddhist members are greeted with solace and serenity as they explore the natural beauty of this well maintained vast expanse of land. A fit subject to initially capture on camera, paint and preserve forever.

Escaping to the lake town Bhimtal, Uttrakhand was a much needed respite from the scorching heat of the plains. Boating in the cool waters was soothing and serene. Above the steps leading the waters and the boats, this scene was composed, clicked and then enlarged and painted. The small island in the middle of the lake is visible before the horizon.

This historical landmark in Delhi fascinated me since childhood. On a March 2019 visit, I clicked many pictures. One image where it stood behind the tall dense trees that deserved to be painted and adorn the walls of any home.
