I came up with this artwork when I was flying by plane on a business trip to the city of Sochi. The weather was good and the plane had a stunning view of Elbrus. Suddenly I felt how insignificant we all are in front of the beauty of nature. We are mortal, and she is eternal.

This artwork was created by me on vacation. It shows the landscape of the Urals. The weather was not entirely lucky, it was cold and rainy. But, despite this, it was possible to depict an amazing sunset.

In this work, I used ancient images of artifacts that archaeologists find on the Ural land. These are images of bird-like idols, a bear, figures of people. The main thing in this composition is the big Shigir idol, which is 11.5 thousand years old, it is the oldest wooden sculpture in the whole world and older than the Egyptian pyramids. The Urals holds many mysteries, so I called my painting "Secrets of the Urals". The golden background symbolizes the gold that our earth is rich in.
