My creations are bright and bold colors, a constant change, infinitive movement to convey the explosion of emotions that I feel every time I create.

This is one of my favorite artworks that I created in 2022. All year I have been focused on self-love and self-acceptance.
Beauty standards in commercial marketing signify that we are ugly and are in need of improvement. To protest these messages I decided to create a collage that celebrates vulnerability and acceptance. The "Best before 09/22" sticker ridicules the idea that women have an expiry date. Every moment we become wiser, more experienced and desired. We are worthy of our own love.

We went for a walk with my husband on a dark gloomy evening. We stopped mesmerised by the beauty of the night sky and suddenly saw a shooting star. Happiness filled our hearts and I am certain that we wished for the same thing.

One of the most inspiring quotes I ever heard was a quote by Thomas Edison, the creator of the first electric light bulb. He said: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." That is how I view my life. I will do 10,000 mistakes, I will find 10,000 ways that won't work but I will never stop chasing my dream.


One summer day we were camping with my family near a lake. I woke up at dawn and went swimming in solitude. The water was calm, and the lake showed me it's greatest treasure: water lilies at dawn.

This collage was inspired was pizza. Pizza is the food you eat when you desperately need comfort. Or when you're happy. When it's raining or when it's sunny, you just know it's pizza time. Pizza is essential.

When I think about the future, I like to think about bright colors. I think about a deep blue sofa and a sunny yellow wall. I think about the pink neon sign of my own studio. I think about an abstract art collection and spectacular sunsets in my dream city.

The older I got, the more I understood that I don't have to do things that me upset or uncomfortable. I stopped meeting with people that made me feel like crap. I stopped trying to fit anywhere that I didn't belong. And you don't have to either. This collage is a reminder that life is about happiness, not struggle.
