To me, art is about creating a vision, whether abstract, figurative or digital, that speaks to people. Vision and emotion are the keys.  My inspiration is often nature: I love portraits, pond and waterlilies.

Jellyfish are a very interesting looking creatures. They are translucent, which means that the light can shine through them. Some jellyfish even produce their own light-like lamps in the sea. They have no brain, heart, bones and eyes. But it does have a big mouth to eat its food. And, it squirts water out of its mouth to propel it forward like a jet.

They are a painter dream, even if it is not easy to paint their gelatinous body.

We all know that the sea is first and foremost a source of livelihood for entire families and communities. I dedicate this artwork to these workers and all those who love the sea.

I love painting waterlilies. The subject is not even water lilies, but rather water, with its reflections and its colors. Everything changes quickly depending on the variations of light, weather, wind that ripples the water or on the contrary makes it smooth as a mirror.

I love painting the reflection on the water, trying  to catch the light.
