Watercolor is best suited to embody my impressions and experiences in vivid and free images on paper, in spaces full of air and movement that emotionally affect the viewer and give a sense of touch to nature. 
Painting is always about searching and a kind of play with material.

This is a picture from a special series of artworks for me, which I paint based on my impressions of traveling in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
All artworks are painted either from nature or from sketches drawn during hikes with full immersion in the mountain environment.
I tried not to literally convey everything I see, but to capture the fascinating spirit and power of the mountains at different times of the year and weather conditions.
