The Night: the summary of everything makes me dream of being able to fly among the stars, a flowery field, a waterfall and a lake, etc.

This new work continues my tendency to search for abstract paths that are based on geometry. It somewhat synthesizes my entire career as an artist, there are elements of nostalgia for references to flags that evoke medieval tales and highlight my influence as an illustrator and also the philosophical crossing of the path of life, which is intertwined in contradictory options. But everything flows in balance in this haven of sidewalks.

This work belongs to a new series of abstract works, here there are two color elements, black and copper, which is a metallic color, which has a slight sheen. There is a composition with inverted bicolor diamonds that delimit two different areas with black and copper. The diamonds invade half of its figure to the opposite area and thus the black side penetrates the copper and the copper side the black. Making a game of opposites and contraries. 

Time is the theme of this work and it is based on the cut of the trees and how their age is measured through the circles that form inside them. It is a work of introspection and philosophical reflection, but also visual of the colored circles that mark the passage of our life, which has different nuances, high moments and also difficult moments. The background is black like the cosmos. It is a work where I continue the path of geometric abstraction and the minimalist concept of less is more.

Time

This work is one of my most recent works and belongs to a series that I have called "Dorados" and it is a work of abstraction in which I detach myself from figuration and explore the textures and plasticity of painting. Here is a golden cloudiness that appears to be emerging from a small golden square against a background of darkness. It is the contrast of light and dark. It's acrylic and gesso with gold leaf elements that I've integrated into the canvas.

This work has a Dadaist spirit of criticism of pictorial schemes, but it is also a work of contrast that has light and shadow. It is a minimalist and balanced composition, based on the square of the canvas. I was drawn to the idea of doing a series called "Golden" that investigates the use of this brilliant hue and I used  acrylic paint gold for these works. It is a work that experiments with texture and brushwork to give a cloudy atmosphere of gold color.

This work belongs to the "Dorados" series that is abstract and Dadaist in style. The black background frames this work that has three parts, the subsoil where the gold is found and the horizon line where it sprouts and burns radiating a fire in the darkness of the environment. It is an abstract work, but like all my work it has a narrative part, a story, a tale. I seek to provoke the imagination of the viewer.

Minimalism

It is a work that belongs to the series "Dorados" and has red and black as protagonists. There is a golden horizontal line above that begins to invade the red. It is a Dadaist and abstract expressionist work. This work has a small black wooden frame and with the frame it measures 52.5 x 52.5 x 4 cm and without the frame the work measures 50 x 50 cm.
