Art is what I do, and what I love. I believe we all start out as artists, and at some point, each of us has picked up a pencil or marker to connect with our creative side. I just decided to stick with it and have stayed committed to developing my style, which consists of a wide range of realism, symbolism, neo-impressionism and a little bit of both. My subject matter is also wide ranging, consisting of concept, wildlife and fantasy. My favorite genres are: portrait, landscape (especially mountains), animalistics, floristics, illustration.

This little lynx cub explores the world around, he is scared, but curiosity is stronger. I think, the difference between domestic kittens and wild ones is that we can see in the cubs` eyes they know they will be the rulers of the land and forest as adults. I believe there can be such a genre as an animal portrait, because they have a sensitive and beautiful soul, keen mind and loving heart!

Whatching my little kittens playing in the garden, I suddenly imagine how the big cubs would play in a wild. As I love to depict different countries and haven`t paint the jungle before, I chose India as a place and Himalayas as a background. Then how to make the playing scene more interesting: a tiger cub can play with a leopard cub! And the paradise for wild cubs was created!

I always loved kittens as much as other animals and love to depict them on canvas or paper. This time I want to surprise my viewers with an unusual pose of kitten and an interesting facial expression, a little not typical for a little one. Do you like it?

This artwork  was inspired by the poem ,,Broad Heads and Bows - Bucks and Does,, by Gerald Strine, a talented color pencil American artist and also a wonderful poet, who have written it at October 2013.
I tried to show not only an ancient, primal hunter, who's only task is to feed his family (a reason of hunting since prehistoric times), but some kind of a transformation into a warrior, who is ready to protect his home and land from any threat (which is symbolizing by the red colored cloud).
