Irina Depko is a contemporary artist and photographer of Ukraine, lives and works in Ukraine, Poland. Irina pursues her own vision, her artistic maturity resulting in strong canvases capturing themes in a broad abstract-figurative style using colour combinations to express her vital aesthetic views.

The tragic events in Ukraine left an imprint on my work as well. This became the impetus for the creation of a new cycle of paintings "Self-identification."

This work is an echo of war and horrific terror against defenseless Ukrainian children and women. At this time, every Ukrainian mother feels anxious and seeks to protect her child. Peace and security of our children are the most important things in our lives.
