my 2020 burnout had completely numbed me. Though in turn I got time to read and reflect, experience the frozen state, and write about it. In hindsight there was value in this burnout though I do not wish it to happen again but there were some lessons learnt. At this moment, the energies have started seeping in, I can feel the lightness of being, it is generating a free flow in my art. There is a spring in my step and a burst of energy.

I had accepted the truth; brain fog has hit me hard. My body and mind had stopped responding to the fact that various tasks needed to be addressed, that clutter was building up, social media interaction was being ignored and worst of all creating art was a distant dream, a very hard-hitting reality. Everything lost its meaning at that moment. A question did cross my mind, how long will this last and will I be able to overcome it?

Realizing that by avoiding the truth of a particular moment just to maintain internal peace is actually creating unwanted conflict within yourself. Face the reality and be aware that things are changing.

It is so difficult to get back to a routine which made you feel alive after leg breaks, holiday breaks and over indulgence in being lazy breaks. It’s been a week now that I have again started meditation, yoga and reading early in the morning - basically ME TIME and today was one of those days when I felt quirky and whimsical and this painting came out. I am going to name my mini series - ‘integrating, disintegrating and integrating again. Repeat’

People think they mean good by giving advice but many times there is a bad intention behind their motives. I struggled with that.

it is so important to be aware that you are not influenced by other voices. instead learn to listen to your voice. 

If we want to believe in the Image we wear as an escape from Truth. The Image makes demands on us. Has expectations of us. Requires conformation of us. Constructs us. Moulds us. Defines our desires. The Image then becomes a mask. Innumerable masks. 

we are hurt by people and yet somewhere we want to believe that everything is ok. why?
