My artwork is based on the traditional Korean methods of paper and ink. It is a modern expression of existence that gives insight through the object and phenomenon of my current mind.

The island's form is of the human pose in the womb. The energy of original human nature is shown in the movement of waves of water. The pattern of waves and the size of shape on the surface make the existence. Who can decide to make the form or size above the surface? It can do by the force of itself.

Just gaze into the empty part of the existence. Beyond of the physical surface like color or shape, there is an essence of existence with movement of energy surrounding the empty space.

The human shape of rock existed with the waves of water. It shows pain around endless distracting thought. But It has a power that can control, make direction and change the patterns of energy. 

The island has waves of endless thoughts. But it has a power of changing the direction of energy.

Even though the two islands have different directions, they know they come from the same identity and nature in love.

The two islands are connected under the water waves.

The foot shows the form like an island on the surface of water. It seems like a symbol of loneliness of an isolated island. But it expresses and connects with the body under the water. The view shows I exist in the small world of a bathtub  but the view can be extended to the wider world.

The island is not lonely because it exists and connects with the land of nature.
