BIO

Emilia Switala is an artist and entrepreneur with an international
background. She was born and raised in Poland, graduated from German
university with master´s degree in American Literature, American
Cultural History and European Ethnology. She later studied
postgraduate studies in Business Management and Translations in
Poland. She resided in Germany (Muenster, Munich), Costa Rica (San
Jose), Spain (Madrid, Valladolid), and Poland (Warsaw, Wroclaw,
Opole) where she painted and gathered her experience in creative
departments in advertising, theater, television and was influenced by
international contemporary art business. In 2008 she founded Creatio
Advertising the first copywriting agency in Poland and started
working for international clients and brands. The same year she also
had her book published. She is the author of the book: Der Opfer -
Täter - Zyklus. Die Darstellung des Afroamerikanischen Mannes In
„Sehr Blaue Augen“ Und „Solomons Lied“ Von Toni Morrison"
published in German language by VDM Verlag Dr. Mueller in Germany,
Switzerland and Austria. In 2012 in line with diversified business
development focused on art, Creatio Advertising agency set up
subsidiary brand company named Creatio Art and in 2015
EmiliaSwitala.com. Since 2014 Emilia Switala exhibits her art under
her maiden name and gains collectors in North America, Australia and
Europe. In 2019 her artwork was recognized by a curator from Saatchi
Art in Santa Monica, California, USA and became artist featured in a
collection. Throughout 2020 and 2021 her artwork was mentioned by
famous Martha Stewart and DailyMail.com. In December of 2021 Emilia
Switala was awarded a Certificate of Artistic Merit for her
art that stands out in the eyes of the museum committee in the
Pinacotheque in Luxembourg.
