A Pichwai depicting Shrinathji during the festival of Gopashtami, the festival that marks the elevation of Krishna from a young herder of calves to a full cowherd. The idol of Shrinathji on an altar is surrounded by a large herd of festival-decorated cows. The scene is set in a lush garden above a blossoming lotus filled pond at the bottom.
