Inspired by "Tota Ram " whom I used to see as a child, reading out fortunes from small pieces of paper to the eager audiences, I have painted a series on fortune teller.  After travelling to many pilgrim places, i started making my series of "The People of God"  journey of joy & wishes.

After traveling extensively to Haridwar, Kumbh Mela, Char Dham etc. my compositions of sadhus and other religious folks in my works reflect my continuing interest in the theme of ‘Journey of Hopes and Wishes’. Influenced by the pilgrimage sites, I see the pilgrims coming to see their deity and feel the peace. People from different walks of life from different places with one hope and faith make the pilgrimage in search of almighty for peace and salvation.
