A self-taught artist from India, art is a passion for me. 

I love to experiment in all mediums and do not like to restrict myself to a particular “style” or "subject" as I feel that restrains the spirit of art.  When I paint I feel like a child, an experience of exploring and experimenting. I paint whenever I can and paint anything that inspires me, and that’s what gives me joy! Nature and all creations in nature are the major sources of my inspiration. I am inspired by the beauty in the surroundings and I see beauty in everything. 

If only I could, I would paint all through my waking hours what I dream of painting in my sleep! If there is rebirth I would like to be born an artist again and again! I always remember the words of Charles H Cooley: "An Artist cannot fail, it is a success just to be one"

These Kathak dancers are depicting the story of Krishna, Radha and the Gopis. Krishna appears and the women are so enthralled with his divine music.  The painting is inspired by the stanzas in the religious book by name "Bhagavatham".
