While I sailed around the world for 7 years I got inspired by the different cultures and people I met, as a result my work changed from abstract art to human faces. But now more often  I'm going back to my roots: minimalism abstract work, mainly in elegant black and white.

Shipment rolled - it has simply become too expensive to ship a large artwork. And apart from the large amount of packaging material, the CO2 balance of a rolled work of art is also much better. You can frame the artwork yourself (easy) or give it to a local framer.

Alain Gerbault (1893 – 1941) was a French Sailor, who made a circumnavigation of the world as a single-handed sailor. He eventually settled in the islands of south Pacific Ocean, where he wrote several books about the islanders' way of life.

During my 6-year circumnavigation of the world, I have often come into contact with the increasing pollution and overfishing of the seas. In the middle of the Pacific I watched fishing fleets that were pulling incredible large nets with them. Garbage from civilization accumulates on deserted islands.
