The painting "The day before the war" was painted the day before the war.
Nobody expected that Russia to attack Ukraine.
On February 23, I went to bed late. At 5 a.m. I woke up and my whole country woke up with me, about 40 million people. It was dark and a fighter plane was flying over my house, explosions were heard.
What is happening now in Ukraine is the genocide of my people.
Many thanks to all the people who support us now.
We really want peace!

Painting "Winter Day of Summer Sunflower" is about sunflower which an August plant, and for it is not typical to grow in winter.
Using this unusual combination of Summer and Winter, I wanted to convey a state of thoughtfulness. And what if we do not depict everything familiar to us, but try to create a new reality.
The bullfinch is a bird of winter, by the way, it is listed in the Red Book, since their population has declined significantly.
Thinking people are also getting smaller and smaller.

It tell to us that the harvest will be enough for everyone. But sometimes we do not see the possibilities and set the wrong goals for ourselves, wasting energy in vain.
