I have the ability to take any forms. Even if I am hit on a rock, I do not fear. I have the power of fluidity to bend around it and continue moving on. I am gentle and yet possessed immense power. I am usually calm and peaceful. Sometimes I move with smooth elegance, while sometimes I am exuberance. But do not provoke me, I am capable of transforming into soaring waves to teach you a lesson. However, that is not my true nature. Although I am powerful, I can cut through rocks, lift a vessel, but most importantly, I nurture lives. Who am I? I am just who I am.

Ironically, the power of fluidity resonances to the power of adaptability in our daily lives. Adaptability is key to survive in the harsh competitive world. We encounter new situations, problems and other obstacles in life on a daily basis. Overcome them and continue with our lives. Be nice to each other, but do not fear to defend the weak and stand up righteous against indignation. Who am I? I am just who I am.

Abstract

Looking up high, soaring towards the sky, Wings in the wind, flying high. When the wind is with you, you glide gracefully and smoothly gaining height. When the wind is against you, you flap fiercely against the resistance to gain height. The resistance makes you stronger each time. What does not kill you, makes you stronger. But once you reach up there, you realise there is no place to rest your tired wings. The higher you fly, the lonelier you become, the further you drifted from your family and friends. You are on top of the world, but what have you gain?

I am so tired. So I gather all my courage and chopped off my wings. I fell down and down to the ground. When I open my eyes, everything I saw is so beautiful. I smell the long forgotten fragrance of the flowers, see the familiar faces of my family and friends. What have I lost? I have lost the way and meaning of living. I am glad that I have found it back

What lies beyond the galaxy? It is a mysterious space we know little about, beauty unexplored. This is an abstract painting of an imaginative multiverse far far away from the galaxy.

I love the new approach of landscape painting which adopts the concept of Chinese painting (山水画) and executed with pour acrylic techniques combined with brush painting techniques, so I created a large painting which was inspired by 'Little Guiling (小桂林)' located at Bukit Batok East Avenue 5.

When you watch the ocean, it seems to be calm and peaceful. Looking closer, you will see the ripples and waves stirred up by the current beneath, swaying in a rhythmic pulse. I called it the heartbeat of the ocean.
