I find joy and emotions in everything around me : a chair, a house, a landscape, a person and I only begin to project on canvas once the memory of it or the product of my imagination, have begun to translate it with shapes and colours.

Everyone should be able to go home once in a while, for a boost of inspiration.  I reloaded my batteries big time. I soaked my feet in a bath of youth, catching up on all the little things I thought forgotten. I will walk so much further now as distance doesn't really bother me. I filtered all the love that came my way. I distilled it through and through, and I will make it last for as long as I have to. It is a Patchwork of scents, colours, memories, shapes, cacophonies, impressions, feelings, perceptions,  songs, custom, fanfares and traditions. It is all there, muddled in this new canvas that I love already so much. 
I'm back, eyes, heart and senses full of tenderness for what makes my homeland what it is. I was home, it fed my soul, and I'm so grateful for it. Merci, ma douce France, je suis régénérée!

Let's celebrate spring in the Southern Hemisphere! I was looking for a word last night, capable of summing up the natural "nuclear bomb" we experience in Kwazulu Natal at this time of the year.
Awakening? Explosion? Über Nature? Mega-vernal? Every word comes short and pales in comparison with reality.
We are simply no match for nature. It doesn't need us, and we better remember we are barely tolerated if we wish to keep marvelling on its beauties. Wowww... is all that come to mind!!! BTW, "Burst Into Bloom" is a tribute to spring in general.

This one is still running wild! It is a fun piece which should keep you warm and fuzzy over the winter months. Smile and relax! You have to like flamingos, or it might be a deal breaker!

As I stand awake, it feels as the last few weeks were spent in a trance. Why do I feel more awake in the dream where I come from? Spitting colour in a world with no limit was so much fun. Having finished this piece leaves me in a room as bland as a day without sunshine. Can I go back, please?
